Bjorn Thomassen was born and raised in North-Norway and has been living and studying in London since the summer of 2007. He's currently on his second year studying for a BA in Journalism with Sociology at City University in London.
Bjorn has always been very passionate about writing and reporting, with a genuine interest in the news and media. In addition to being a regular DJ on local radio The Lofoten Radio in Norway, he also did work experience for a local newspaper named Lofot-Tidende numerous times from 2004 til 2007. Additionally he was the editor of the West-Lofoten Upper Secondary School paper from 2006 til 2007.
Bjorn is very passionate about music, and is a big fan of witty pop music website Popjustice. He's been writing and recording music as a hobby since he was 15, and has released an EP and a follow-up single worldwide through digital retailers under the artist name Bace.
In terms of future plans he's working hard towards a career in broadcast, and the dream is to work for BBC. Bjorn would love to combine his passion for Journalism and Music, and the preference is to work in front of the camera.
